I have read the applicant's two applications both dated 27 March 2024 filed under certificates of
urgency of even date. The first application seeks the prayer that the 2nd application be admitted for
disposal during this Honourable Court's Easter recess. By dint of section175(3) of the Public
Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, the first application is certified urgent and allowed. For the
same reason, the 2nd application is also certified urgent and allowed to the extent that leave is
granted for the applicant to file the motion for judicial review in terms of prayers 1(a), (b), (c) and
(d) of the summons. Directions in respect of the filing and hearing of the main motion are as follows:
(a) The motion shall be filed and served within 3 days of the date of this ruling.
(b) The respondent and interested parties shall file and serve their response to the motion within 3
days of the date of service of the main motion.
