The platform charges a 30 days client subscription and a percentage-based platform fee. Advocates set and are paid their own professional fees directly — we never set, mark up or double-charge for legal work.
Legal Services Access
Gives you access to advocate discovery and the referral process for your legal requirement. It is not a payment for legal advice or representation — the professional fee you agree with an advocate is separate and paid directly to them.

How the fees work
Three charges, never hidden
Every engagement shows the professional fee, the client platform fee and the advocate referral fee separately, before anything is confirmed.

If you and your advocate agree a professional fee of KES 100,000 for an engagement, the platform fee (5%) and referral fee (10%) are calculated on that amount and shown to both sides before the engagement is confirmed — never hidden, never changed after the fact.

Common questions about fees
30 days of access to the platform’s client features: submitting your legal requirement, searching verified advocates by practice area and location, and receiving referrals. It does not cover any legal work — that fee is agreed separately with the advocate you engage.
No. Advocates set their own professional fees and terms, and you agree them directly. The platform’s only charges are the client subscription and the 5% platform fee calculated on whatever professional fee you agree.
No — the referral fee is paid by the advocate out of the professional fee they charge you, not added to your invoice. Only the 5% client platform fee is charged to you, on top of the professional fee.
No. The rates that applied when your referral was matched are the rates used for that engagement, even if the platform’s standard fees change later.
