About the platform

About Wakili Link: a private marketplace for verified advocates in Kenya

Wakili Link is a technology platform that connects clients in Kenya with independent, verified advocates across corporate, property, employment, tax, IP, family and dispute matters. We are not a law firm. We check advocates’ credentials, match each inquiry to the right advocate and show every fee upfront.

Our approach

A platform built around the client’s decision, not a directory

We organise the platform around a single question: what does this client actually need, and which verified advocate is best placed to help? That means an inquiry-first model instead of an open listing, fees agreed in the open, and an account experience that keeps you informed without needing to chase anyone for updates.

Matching, not marketing

We match your inquiry to advocates whose practice area, location and availability fit — not a directory to scroll through.

No surprises on fees

The client subscription and platform fee are shown upfront. Your advocate’s own fee is agreed directly with them, in writing.

Verification before visibility

An advocate becomes eligible for referrals only after we review their practising certificate, admission, indemnity cover and identity.

Built for transparency

Every client works through a secure account with real-time status on inquiries, referrals and payments.

How we operate

What the platform does — and what it doesn't

  1. We are a technology platform, not a law firm

Wakili Link does not give legal advice, does not represent clients, and does not instruct advocates on how to handle a matter. We build and operate the platform that connects clients with independent advocates.

  2. Advocates are independent

Every advocate on the platform practises independently, under their own professional obligations to their bar. The professional relationship — and the professional fee — is between the client and the advocate they engage.

  3. Vetting is not optional

We review each advocate’s practising certificate, admission to the Roll, professional indemnity cover and identity before approval, and we can suspend access to referrals if standards slip.

  4. Fees are disclosed, not buried

The client subscription, the platform fee and the advocate referral fee are each shown separately, before an engagement is confirmed — never combined into a single unexplained number.

Regulation & verification

How advocates on the platform are verified

Wakili Link is an online service operated by AI PRO LTD — a technology platform, not a law firm, and it is not itself regulated as an advocates' practice. Advocates approved on the platform are verified members of the Law Society of Kenya, hold current practising certificates, and are expected to maintain professional indemnity insurance and comply with the Advocates Act in their own practice.
