Ruth Natasha VS Kenya Power and Lighting Company

High Court at Mombasa High Court · · Jairus Ngaah

'I have considered the applicants'' application dated 21 October 2025, filed under a certificate of Urgency of even date. As far as I understand the applicants, the respondents have breached a court order obtained in this Honourable Court Judicial Review Application No. E023 of 2022. If that is the case, I do not understand why the applicants had to file a separate case ostensibly to enforce the same order.  Accordingly, I am not satisfied that this application is urgent. I directed that the application be served and be mentioned for directions on 17 November 2025. In the meantime, the respondents are directed to file and serve their response to the application within seven days of the date of service of the applicants'' application. Orders accordingly.'
