My attention has been drawn to the order made by my learned brother Chigiti, J referring this matter to me. I have read the applicants' application dated 7 November 2023 under a certificate of urgency of even date. For reasons stated in the certificate of urgency, I am satisfied that the application is urgent and it is so certified. Leave is granted in terms of prayers 2(i),(ii), (iii) and (iv) of the chamber summons. The applicants are directed to file and serve the substantive motion within seven days of the date of this ruling. The respondents are directed to file and serve their response within seven days of the date of service of the substantive motion. The applicants will file and serve their submissions within seven days of the date of service of the respondents' response. The respondents, on their part, shall file and serve their submissions within seven days of the date of service of the applicants' submissions. Highlighting of submissions will be on 6 December 2023. It is so ordered.
