RULING
1. Whereas this file had been listed for revision of the applicant’s sentence in line with the judiciary’s prison decongestion exercise, I have upon perusal of the trial file MCTRE 442/2026, established that the applicants Mbithi Mathennge was convicted of several traffic offences under sections 103B (7) of the Traffic Act CAP 403 of the Laws of Kenya and was sentenced on 26.1.2026 to a fine of Ksh 2300 or 1months custodial sentence. The applicant has since served his custodial term.
2. Premised upon the reasons aforesaid, this file is hereby marked as closed.
