Judy Jemutai VS State Law AND National Police Service Commission (NPSC) AND 1 Others

High Court at Milimani High Court · · Jairus Ngaah

I have read the applicant's application dated 4 April 2024 filed under certificate of urgency of even date. I am satisfied that the application is urgent and it is so certified. I am also persuaded that the applicant merits leave to file a substantive motion for judicial review reliefs. Leave is hereby granted to file the motion for the reliefs in terms of prayers 2 (a) and (b) in the chamber summons. The grant of leave shall operate as stay in terms of prayer (c) of the summons. In order to expedite the hearing and determination of the main motion, I direct that the motion be filed and served within 7 days of the date of this ruling. The respondents and interested party shall file and serve their response to the motion within 7 days of the date of service of the motion. The motion shall be mentioned on 29 April 2024 for purposes of taking directions on the mode of its disposal. It is so ordered
