I have read the applicant's application dated 15 May 2025, filed under a certificate of urgency of even date. I am not satisfied that the application is urgent. If an appeal has been filed against the impugned decision of the lower court, I doubt it is necessary for the applicant to file separate proceedings as a constitutional petition seeking what in effect is an order for stay of execution of the judgment appealed against. In the circumstances, I direct that the the application be served for mention 25 June 2025. It is so ordered.
