1. On 13th March 2024, the convict Vincent Okoth Obumba was sentenced to serve one (1) year imprisonment for the offence of stealing contrary to Section 268(1) as read with Section 275 of the Penal Code.
2. He pleaded guilty and he was a first offender. He has served 8 months.
3. In the spirit of prison decongestion, I order that the convict Vincent Okoth Obumba shall be released from prison on condition that he shall not reoffend for 6 months of release from prison.
