I have considered that originating summons dated 14/4/2024, the supporting affidavit of the Applicant take statement in support thereof of even date, the enclosure attached thereto and I have noted that the child was declared free for adoption by Little Angels Network vide a certificate No. 002425 on 16/12/2023. A child welfare report dated 25/6/2024 has also been considered and I do note that this is a kinship adoption as the Applicant is the child’s maternal aunty. I do find that the application is well mentioned and I do hereby allow it and I make the following orders:
- The Applicant Rehema Abdi is hereby allowed to adopt the minor Jamal Abdi.
- The Registrar General is hereby directed to make an entry into the adopted children’s register of this adoption in accordance with the particulars set out in this adoption order.
