The Applicant Mohamed Hassan has applied to t his court to have his life sentence substituted with determinate sentence in application filed on 7th November 2023
This court has considered the application and hereby substitutes the life sentence with 30 years jail term to take effect from 5th April 2002 when the applicant was arraigned in court prior to promulgation of 2010 Constitution.
The Applicant will remain on probation for 3 years upon completion of jail term to help reintegration into society and to prevent recidivism
