KEMBOY LAW ADVOCATE VS NAROK COUNTY GOVERNMENT

RULING

The Court has perused the application dated 02.05.2024 as well as the Replying Affidavit dated 19.07.2024 and also heard the submissions by both Counsel and therefore make the following orders: -

  1. The Certificate of costs dated 18.04.2024 for Kshs.275,333/= is hereby converted to a judgment of costs in favour of the Advocate against the client.
  2. On the issue of interest payable, the issue will be determined through a ruling of this court.
  3. The Advocate is directed to serve their submission by close of business today.
  4. The Client is directed to prepare, file and serve their submissions within 7 days from today’s date.
  5. The matter will be mentioned on 03.10.2024 to confirm filing of a ruling date.
