The Applicant was convicted on his own plea of guilty for the offence of conspiracy to commit a felony contrary to Section 393 of the Penal Code. The trial court sentenced him to serve 1 year’s imprisonment. The Applicant has already served 2 months and 23 days of his sentence. The Sentence Review Report filed on 3rd April 2024 by the Probation Officer Nelson Maroa recommends a non-custodial sentence. I hereby direct that the Applicant serves a Community Service Order at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Nyamira under the supervision of the officer in charge for the remaining period of 5 months.
