'I have read the applicant''s application dated 15 September 2025, filed under a certificate of urgency of even date. It is not apparent from the application when the judgment sought to be stayed was delivered. Neither has a copy of the judgment been exhibited to the applicant''s affidavit. In these circumstances, it is impossible to tell whether the application has been filed timeously and, therefore, there is no basis for certifying the application urgent. I direct that the application be served for mention on 3 November 2025 for directions on its disposal. In the meantime, the respondent will file and serve a response to the application within 14 days of the date of service of the application. It is so ordered.   '
