1. The Court is seized of the Chamber Summons application dated 26th June 2025 brought by the firm of WM Njagi & Associates under Order 9 Rule 13(1) of the Civil Procedure Rules and Section 3A of the Civil Procedure Act, seeking leave to cease acting for the appellant in this matter.
2. The application is accompanied by an affidavit of service sworn on even date confirming that the application was duly served upon both the appellant/client and the respondents. The application is unopposed. There is therefore no legal bar to the firm ceasing to act for the appellant, and the Court finds no reason to decline the prayer.
Disposition
3. The application dated 26th June 2025 is hereby allowed. Leave is granted to the firm of WM Njagi & Associates to cease acting for the appellant in this matter.
4. The said firm shall forthwith serve this order and the notice for highlighting of submissions upon the appellant and confirm such service as required within seven (7) days of this orders. The appellant is at liberty to file their written submissions within the next 21 days.
