THE CHIEF MAGISTRATE’S COURT AT MOMBASA (ITHUKU . A. M)
- The Applicant was charged and convicted upon his own plea of guilty on the 17th day of April 2024 for the offence of stealing motor cycle contrary to section 278 (A) of the penal code.
- The sentence review report dated 22nd November 2024 by Boytone Omondi indicates that in mate has learnt his lesson and is willing to perform community service for the remainder of his sentence. The family and community sentiments were also positive and they are willing to receive him.
- Having considered the Sentence Review Report, I find that since the applicant has learnt his lesson . His sentence is reviewed to the time already spent in custody plus A COMMUNITY SERVICE ORDER SENTENCE FOR SIX (6) at Likoni CHIEF’S OFFICE .
