This matter is before me for preparation and delivery of a ruling on the petitioner’s application dated 28/4/2026. I have carefully considered the materials placed before me by the parties in respect of the application and find the same insufficient to enable me to effectively render myself on the application.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 159 of the Constitution, the overriding objective of the court, and the inherent powers of the Court, and for an effective disposal of the application, I hereby order:
a) The AG. CEO/Board Secretary, County Public Service Board, to within 14 days of today, file a supplementary affidavit, clearly setting out the names of the outstanding 77 petitioners, the role they served or are serving the respondent, what their remuneration is, and whether they are currently included in any medical cover and work injury benefits insurance cover.
b) The preparation and delivery of the ruling in respect of the application is consequently deferred.
c) The Ruling shall be delivered on 23/09/2026.
