This matter is before me for purposes of revision under the decongestion exercise by the Judiciary vide memo dated 13th March 2024.
The offender was arrested on 5/5/2021. She was convicted on 5/10/2023 to 4 years imprisonment for theft by servant. The amount stolen was slightly below ksh 154,000.
The record indicates she was in custody all along.
PACS recommends Probation Supervision for 2 years 2 months.
Taking into account the period spent in custody, the sentence is revised to period already served .
She is to be released from custody forthwith unless otherwise legally held.
