(From the original conviction and sentence in Winam Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court Criminal Case No. E385 of 2024)
1. The offender Wycliff Otieno Orwa and another Damaris Achieng in Criminal Revision No. E257 of 2024 were convicted on their own plea of guilty for the offence of creating disturbance in a manner likely to cause breach of the peace and sentenced on their own plea of guilty on 28th May 2024 to serve 6 months’ imprisonment.
2. The co-convict Damaris Achieng was released in September 2024 in a prison decongestion exercise. The offender herein has already served sentence hence the decongestion has been overtaken by events.
