RULING
1. The application is dated 8.5.2026.
2. It seeks a stay of execution pending appeal in this matter.
3. The Court directed that the application be served upon the Respondent.
4. The Respondent appeared through Counsel and opposed the granting of any interim order.
5. Mr. Wanjeri says he can file a Replying Affidavit within 3 days. That is allowed.
6. The Applicant states that he can file the Supporting Affidavit and submissions within 14 days after service.
7. The Respondent says he can file submissions within 14 days.
Determination
8. The Court notes that the Applicant is in debt. The Court grants a stay of execution on condition that the Applicant pays to the Respondent a sum of Kshs. 600,000/= (Six Hundred Thousand) within the next 14 days from the date of this Ruling.
9. In default, the stay shall lapse and the orders of the Lower Court may be implemented.
