RULING
1 . Whereas on 19.2.2026 this court grant the applicant Sarah Mutama orders of access to the subject's (Peter Mutama's) bank account held at ABSA Bungoma branch, the Applicant has now moved this court yet again vide a Notice of Motion dated 25th February 2026, wherein she craves for the amendment of the said order in terms of the subject's account number from 4531770007653072 to account No 0038069985.
2. I have duly considered the application herein, the affidavit of the applicant sworn on 25.2.2026 and the enclosure attached thereto, which is a copy of the bank card and I do find the explanation given by the applicant, that she erroneously quoted the wrong account number, to be plausible. I therefore allow her application herein and I proceed to make the following orders :-
i) One Sarah Mutama holder of a national identity card number 22310735 is hereby authorised to access, operate, and withdraw funds from account number 0038069985 in the name of Peter Mutama held at Absa Bank Bungoma branch.
ii) The branch manager Absa Bank Bungoma branch is hereby ordered to facilitate the said access of account No 0038069985 in the name of Peter Mutama by Sarah Mutama.
iii) The applicant Sarah Mutama is directed to file a statement of expenditure within 6 months from the date hereof.
iv) This matter shall be mentioned on 21.9.2026 to confirm compliance with order iii) hereinabove.
