The Applicant herein vide Originating Summons dated 20th December, 2024 sought that the subject child herein be placed in their care as the subject is free for adoption having been abandoned and given to them by Little Angels Network on 2nd September 2021.
The Application is supported by the affidavit and the statement of Susan Atieno Abade dated 20th December 2024. Reports by Little Angels Network dated 20th December, 2024 and 2nd September, 2021 were also annexed to confirm that the Applicant was fit to adopt the subject child. The County Coordinator for Children Services Migori County also carried investigations and recommended vide their report filed on 6th May 2025 that the Applicant be allowed to adopt the subject child as she is fit and had bonded well with the subject child who refers to her as mum.
This court has considered the application and there being no objection and the Applicant having gone through all the legal processes required for adoption the same is allowed as prayed.
