1. The accused is charged with the offence of murder contrary to section 203 as read with section 204 of the Penal Code. He pleaded not guilty to the charge on 4/3/2026.
2. Mr. Edaki for the accused applied for bond. The State was not opposed but prayed that a pre-bail report be obtained first. The Court gave an order for the same to be filed. The same was prepared and lodged with the Court. It is dated 24/3/2024.
3. From the report, the accused is not a flight risk. He is a family man looking after his children. He does not know the witnesses and there is no likelihood therefore of him interfering with the prosecution witnesses.
4. In the premises, I find the accused suitable to be admitted to bond. He shall be released on a bond of Kshs.500,000/- with a surety of a similar amount.
