RULING

  1. The matter known as E046 of 2025 and E047 of 2025 have same parties but different properties.
  2. The facts in both files are similar and the witnesses are likely to be the same.
  3. By consent of the parties, the two files known as ELC No.E046 of 2025 and ELC No.047 of 2025 be and are hereby consolidated for purposes of hearing.
  4. The lead file will be ELC No.046 of 2025.
  5. The Plaintiff in ELC No.046 of 2025 is granted leave of 14 days from today’s date to prepare, file and serve the Amended Plaint and incorporate the two properties in the same Plaint.
  6. The Defendant in the Consolidated Plaint will have leave of 21 days upon service of the Amended Plaint to prepare, file and serve the Defendant with an Amended Defence and all other documents.
  7. The Plaintiffs will have leave of 7 days upon service of the Amended Defence to prepare, file and serve any Reply thereof.
  8. The matter will come up for pre-trial on 21.01.2026.
