The Applicant's application dated 12.06.2023 is made under section 36 of the Arbitration Act and is seeks recognition and enforcement of an arbitral award. It has been served and is not opposed by the Respondent. The time for setting aside the award has also lapsed.
The application is therefore allowed on terms that the Award dated 20.02.2023 is duly recognised as a judgment of this court and the leave it granted to the application to enforce it as a decree. The Respondent shall pay costs of Kshs. 30,000.00.
