I have considered the application dated 9 December 2022 filed under a certificate of urgency of even date. I am not satisfied that the same is urgent for the reasons that the trial court is best placed to deal with the questions of whether the applicant's attendance in court should be dispensed with owing to his disposition and also give appropriate directions or orders on non-attendance of any or all of the prosecution witnesses. The applicant may take a date before the deputy registrar. It is so ordered.
