'1. The application dated 1.08.25 seeking leave to file submission after the hearing was concluded on the basis that new advocates came on record has been considered. The ruling is scheduled for the next day, 16.10.25. I find it appropriate to dismiss the application ex parte on the basis that the party seeking to file submissions after the conclusion of the hearing, and one day before the ruling, had ample time to file its submissions within time -but chose not to.
2. The appointment of a new advocate after the close of hearing and before delivery of a ruling is not an appropriate basis to halt the proceedings and begin afresh.
3. The court notes that the applicant had in fact filed a reply to the application in question, and that the same forms part of the record. The ruling will therefore consider the deposition on record as part of its ruling.
4. The application is dismissed. '
