1. The applicant in this case is serving an eight (8) month prison sentence for the offence of assault causing actual bodily harm that on 24th March, 2024 at Check-point area in Likoni Sub-County within Mombasa County that he unlawfully assaulted Nassoro Ali Shee thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm. He pleaded guilty to the charge and he was convicted and sentenced to 8 months imprisonment on 2/4/2024. He is therefore due to complete his prison term sometime on or about 1/11/2024.
2. This court called for a sentence review report from the Probation and Aftercare department. The Probation officer who noted the file simply made a note to the court that a report was filed in the lower court. Recommended to serve community service at Shikaadabu Chief’s office.
3. The offender should have served his sentence by now.
4. This file is closed.
5. Orders accordingly.
