This court has perused the application dated 12/11/2024 and the attached supporting affidavit. The applicants seek to have orders arresting the ruling scheduled for today. The application, though signed by one advocate, seems to suggest that there was a compromise between both sides that the ruling be arrested and the parties be allowed to seek mediation or an out of court settlement. The other side needs to confirm that is the case otherwise they will remain as respondents to the present application. However, this court is appreciative of the fact that parties to cases are aware of alternative justice systems which have been instrumental in resolving numerous cases out there. I therefore grant prayer no 1 and 2 of the application to the extent that prayer no 2 shall last until substantive hearing of the application. Hearing of the instant application shall be on 2/12/2024.
