RULING
- The Applicants have sought for an adjournment on the basis that they need time to interpret the Ruling on the application dated 18.11.2025.
- The Respondent have opposed the same on the ground that there is no good ground for the adjournment to be granted.
- Looking at the proceedings, the matter was fixed by consent for hearing on 25.07.2025.
- Again the dates were confirmed on 06.11.2025.
- The reason for adjournment is that they require time to understand the effects of the ruling dated 24.11.2025.
- In the Court’s considered view, this is not a good reason to grant an adjournment.
- The reason is that the Applicants have a period of 30 days within which they are allowed to read the Ruling and take any further action.
- Consequently, the adjournment is denied.
