'The application dated 25th August 2025 was served on the respondent. There has been no response. The said application seeks the release of funds held in a joint account in the names of both parties’ counsels, to the counsel for the appellant/applicant. I note that, vide a decision of this court delivered on 28th June 2024, the appeal was allowed, while the cross-appeal was dismissed. Despite more than one year having passed since the judgment was delivered, no appeal has been filed against the decision. In the circumstances, I am of the view that the application dated 25th August 2025 has merit. The same is allowed as prayed.
