Katana Charo Mkare AND Karisa Ngoma Nguna AND 7 Others VS The owners of the vessel

I have read the applicant's application dated 17 July 2025, filed under a certificate of urgency of even date. This matter was in court yesterday and a ruling on the defendant's application set for 8 August 2025. I am unable to understand why the issues brought in the instant application could not be addressed during the hearing of the defendant's application that is now pending for ruling. I am also not quite clear whether the applicants are seeking to arrest my ruling or they are seeking  the ruling to be delivered earlier than scheduled, despite the reasons given by the court that in view of the many decisions the court has to deliver, it is compelled to deliver the ruling during the court recess. I direct that the application be served for mention for directions on 29 July 2025. It is so ordered.
