'1. KENNETH OTIENO OKUMU & VENDAR KETURA ACHIENG have by an Originating Summons dated 20/11/2024 applied to adopt the Minor Lione Baraka aka Carsel Israel Okumu.
2. The two applicants appeared before me on 13/10/2025 and confirmed the deposition in the verifying affidavit sworn on 20/11/2024. They expressed their willingness to adopt the subject. I saw them together with the Subject in Chambers. The Subject was quite comfortable in their hands.
3. I have scrutinized the documents submitted in support of the Summons. I have in particular considered the Report dated 1/10/2025 by the County Coordinator of Children’s Services, Kisumu County. I am satisfied that the applicants have satisfied all the conditions precedent for the orders they seek.
4. Accordingly, the Originating Summons dated 20/11/2024 is hereby allowed in terms of prayer Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Summons.
