The Applicant’s Notice of Motion dated 22.12.2022 is made under Section 36 of the Arbitration Act. It seeks recognition and enforcement of an Arbitral Award dated 15.07.2022. It is not opposed. The time for making an application for setting aside has lapsed. I therefore make the following orders:
1. The Arbitral Award published on 15.07.2022 is duly recognized as a judgment of the court and leave is granted to enforce it as a decree.
2. The Applicant is awarded costs of Kshs. 50,000.00 for the application.
