  1. The judgement and decree issued on the 18/1/2024 be and is hereby stayed pending hearing and determination of this appeal.
  2. The appellant is directed to deposit a sum of Ksh. 100, 000/= as security for costs within 14 days from today’s date.
  3. In the event the appellant fails to comply with order number 2 herein, the stay issued against the judgment dated 18/1/24 will automatically be discharged and/or vacated.
  4. The matter will be mentioned on 20/6/24 to confirm filing of the record of appeal and take further directions.
