I have considered the submissions of the parties in relation to the application dated 13.5. 25 seeking leave to appeal from the ruling of this court issued on 28 April 2025.
Given the applicants submission that it has not been paid anything at all for work done for his client, and the further submission, that the advocate now stands to suffer prejudice in terms of a new Bill of Costs that has been filed against the law firm, I am inclined to exercise my discretion and grant leave to appeal to alleviate any undue prejudice may be occasioned to the applicant.
Leave to appeal from the said ruling is hereby granted.
