1. Vide an application dated 20th April, 2026, the Administrator of Estate of Pramila Tilkram Sachdeva (Deceased) has made an application seeking one prayer; that the Honourable Court be pleased to dispense with the requirement for the online appearance of the consenting beneficiaries.
2. The grounds are set out in the supporting affidavit sworn by Madhur Vedvrat Ramarakha. It is submitted that the consenting beneficiaries are numerous and are spread across four different jurisdictions and time zones, making coordination of their simultaneous online appearance difficult and impractical.
3. Additionally, it is submitted that all the beneficiaries have fully consented to the proposed distribution of the Estate hence no prejudice will be suffered for waiving their virtual attendance of the proceedings. Additionally, the majority of the consenting beneficiaries have been bequeathed nominal sums and are not dependants within the meaning of the law. The applicant has annexed a copy of the Will to this application.
4. I have looked at the application and the Will by the deceased and note that there is no protest by any of the beneficiaries in this matter and the fact that they are alleged to reside in different time zones, even though the applicant did not demonstrate by evidence, the court will be the last to hold this cause further.
5. In the premises, and taking into consideration that, the mode of distribution is not in issue, I do hereby find that it is only fair that the orders sought be granted and do hereby grant the same.
6. It is so ordered.
Delivered virtually this 9th June, 2026.
