In the Estate of OLIVER ACHWANYA

I have looked at the Petitioner's Amended Petition for Special Limited Grant of Letters of Administration dated 30th April 2025 and filed on 1st May 2025 and her Supporting Affidavit that was sworn on 30th April 2025 and the enclosures therein and have noted the urgency of the matter. I hereby certify the matter as urgent. Having heard the Petitioner, her counsel and all the other beneficiaries to the deceased's estate, namely Hellen Jebet Maiyo, Edward Achawanya and Esther Nelima on 28th April 2025 and having considered the consents that the beneficiaries executed consenting to the Petitioner filing the present Amended Petition, I hereby allow the said Amended Petition in terms of Prayer Nos (1), (2) and (3) therein. The purpose of the mention on 30th June 2026 which was earlier given by this court in chambers to confirm the filing of the present Petition herein be and is hereby vacated and/or set aside. To progress this matter further, I hereby direct that the Petitioner files a Petition for Letters of Administration Intestate forthwith. For the avoidance of doubt, I hereby direct that this matter will be mentioned on 30th June 2025 which is hereby retained to confirm compliance and/or for further orders and/or directions. Orders accordingly.
