' 1. I have read the Petition for Letters of Administration ad litem, dated 6th October 2025, in respect of the estate of the deceased, brought by the Petitioners George Kamau Kagiri and Margaret Wambui Kagiri . I have also perused the supporting affidavit and the annexures thereto.
2. I am satisfied that the said Petition is extremely urgent and that there is a risk that the estate of the deceased will suffer loss unless the orders sought in the said Petition are granted forthwith. In the circumstances, I grant the orders sought in the interest of justice.
3. I issue Letters of Administration ad litem to the Petitioners, limited to the following purposes:-
a. Instituting a suit in the Environment and Land Court between Estate of Gladys Njeri Kagiri, alias Gladys Njeri Njenga Kagiri and Ruwa Mwamunda Mwanjemo, Ndoro Kalama Shaib, Mwanajuma Mohammed Salim, Mugunya Nyiro Ndoror, Jumwa Katana Ruwa, and Chengo Mwakalasi Mtengo, in respect to the property known as Subdivision Number 11644 (Original No. 4188/33 of Section I Mainland North Bamburi); Title No. C.R. 35797, subdivided from Title No. C.R. 7981;
b. defending the suit property from third parties; and
c. Taking any other steps, including but not limited to instituting, prosecuting, and defending the suit, with a view to safeguarding the deceased''s interest in the suit property.
4. The Administrators ad litem shall not have the powers to distribute the estate of the deceased or to sell or otherwise alienate it.
5. It is so ordered.
