THIS MATTER is an Application filed under a Certificate of Urgency by Njeri Mucheru Advocate, A Petition and supporting Affidavit by Habinder Singh Bhogal dated 11th November 2024, filed pursuant to Rule 12 And 49 of the Probate and Administration Rules, 1980 and Rule 10 of the Fifth Schedule and Section 54 of the Succession Act (CAP 160), AND UPON READING the Petition together with the supporting Affidavit and all annexures thereto, and being persuaded that hearing and determining the Application Ex-Parte is in the best interests of the estate of the deceased without possibility of an incurable prejudice, the court directs and Orders as follows;

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED;
1. THAT, this Application is certified as extremely urgent warranting its hearing on priority and its service is hereby dispensed with in the 1st instance.
2. THAT a limited grant is hereby made and issued to Habinder Singh Bhogal, limited to:-
a. link the company-Rift (Holdings) Limited, to his e-citizen account for the updating of Beneficial Ownership Information of Rift (Holdings) Limited, including filing the necessary documents and including annual returns from the year 2020 to date in compliance with the Business Registration Service requirements as is contained in Registrar of Companies Directive No 01 of 2024.
b. prepare and sign annual audited accounts for the company and filing on the iTax portal at Kenya Revenue Authority with Annual Tax Returns from the year 2021 to date.
3. THAT, this Temporary Grant does not authorise Habinder Singh Bhogal to transfer any share or alter the existing shareholding structure of Rift (Holdings) Limited.
4. That the mention scheduled for 4th February 2025 remains unaffected.
