I have considered the applicant's chamber summons dated 20 August 2023. It is seeking an application dated 20 April 2023 be admitted for hearing during this Honourable Court's recess. If the application was filed as early as April 2023, no reason has been given why the applicant should be seeking to have it certified urgent and heard four months later, during the recess. In any event, the application seeking to have it certified urgent is not supported by any affidavit. I direct that the application be served for hearing on 18 October 2023. It is so ordered.
