I have seen the record of the trial court. It is indeed correct that the court did not take into account the period the accused/Applicant had been in remand. As Section 333(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code this court directs that the said period shall be considered by directing that the sentence imposed shall be computed to run as from 11/4/2024 when the Applicant was arrested.
Orders accordingly.
