I have read the applicant's application dated 24 January 2024 filed under certificate of urgency of even date. I am not satisfied that the application is urgent. However, leave is granted in terms of prayer 2 of the chamber summons. I direct that the substantive application be filed and served within 7 days of the date hereof. The respondent's response shall be filed and served within 7 days of the date of service of the applicant's application. The application shall be disposed of by way of written submissions and to that extent:
(i) The applicant's submissions will be filed and served within 7 days of the date of service of the respondent's response.
(ii) The respondent's submissions shall be filed and served within 7 days of the date of service of the applicant's submissions.
(iii) Highlighting of submissions should be on 8th of April 2024.
(iv) The prayer for leave to operate as stay is declined. It is so ordered.
