Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission VS NAPEYOK SUPPLIERS AND CONTRACTORS

RULING
The court has perused the Originating Motion dated the 23rd April, 2025 brought under certificate of urgency.  It seeks an order prohibiting the Respondent, its agents, servants or any other persons from withdrawing, transferring, disposing or in any other way dealing with the funds held in the Bank Accounts as set out in Prayer (2) of the application.
Preliminary investigations by the officers of the Applicant shows that the monies held in those accounts could be proceeds of crime as the Respondent is a conduit for laundering the embezzled public funds belonging to the County Government of Turkana.
In the premises, I find that the Applicant has made a case for granting of the orders sought in the application.  I hereby grant prayers (2) and (3) of the application.
