The court has considered the application dated 17th December 2024 and the supporting affidavit sworn by Shadrack Mwenda. I note that the Applicant is still carrying out investigations and has made remarkable progress pertaining to the issues before this court.
However, there are crucial investigative points yet to be covered and thus, the need for extension of the preservation orders that were issued on the 21st June 2024.
The Respondent and his Advocate were served with the application but they have not filed any response and they have also failed to attend court today to defend the application.
In the premises, it is only fair and just that the application is allowed so that the applicant can conclude the investigations.
No order as to costs.
