1. In the Judgement of Court delivered on 13th day of February, 2026, among the orders that the court issued was “(e) in accordance with section 27(4) of the Mental Health Act, 2022 the applicant shall cause within 30 days the application of notice in the Gazette, informing the Public of her appointment as the Manager of the Estate of Magdaline Wanjiku Muturi alias Magdaline Wanjiku”
2. On Monday 13th day of July, 2026, Ms Kagwe for the Petitioner, appeared and informed court, that the Public Notice was Gazetted on 20th April 2026 vide Gazette Notice No.8938 as per the directions of the court and in accordance with section 27(4) of the Mental Health Act, 2022.
3. The court has perused the Gazette Notice Number No.8938 and confirms that indeed, the Notice was published on the 20th April, 2026 and 14 days’ notice was issued, that unless cause be shown and appearance made within 14 days from the date of publication, the appointment of Elizabeth Nyambura shall be confirmed. It is submitted that there is no any objection to the appointment of Elizabeth Nyambura as the Guardian and Manager of Magdalene Wanjiku Muturi alias Magdaline Wanjiku.
4. Accordingly, the appointment of Elizabeth Nyambura as the Guardian and Manager of Magdalene Wanjiku Muturi alias Magdaline Wanjiku, is hereby confirmed.
