RULING
I have considered the originating summons dated 10.7.2023, the affidavit in support thereof sworn on even date by Peter Daniel Onyango, the statements in support of the application made by Evans Okoth Onguru and Beatrice Atieno Obong’o on even date, the child welfare report dated 7th March, 2024 filed by the Directorate of Children Services Kisumu and I note that the child Moses Lewis Malova was declared free for adoption on 3.4.2019 by the Little Angels Network Case Committee vide a certificate serial No. 002078. I have also observed and talked to the child in court and he appears happy and well maintained. This application is well merited as the abandoned child has now found loving parents who have all along been childless. I thus allow the application and I make the following orders:-
1. The applicants Evans Okoth Onguru and Beatrice Atieno Obong’o are hereby authorized to adopt the minor abandoned male child Moses Lewis Malova alias Bevan Brown.
2. The adopted minor shall henceforth be known as Bevan Brown.
3. The Registrar General is hereby directed to make entry of this adoption into the Adopted Childrens’ Register in accordance with the particulars as shall be set out in the adoption order.
