Ruling
1. I have considered the application dated 17 April 2026 together with the affidavits and documentation in support. I have also heard from the applicant, who appeared in court in support of her application. Having hear the applicant and considered the material before the court I am satisfied that the application be allowed as prayed for.
2. Justine Mbaisi Siyai Kitaa is hereby appointed Guardian ad Litem for the child pending the hearing and determination of the adoption cause.
3. The Director of Children's Services shall investigate the circumstances of the child and the suitability of the applicants and file a report within sixty (60) days.
4. The Guardian ad Litem shall conduct independent investigations and file a report within sixty (60) days.

6. Mention on 7th October 2026 for further directions on the originating summons.
