The Plaintiffs have applied for stay pending appeal following the delivery of two rulings. Having dismissed their application challenging this court’s jurisdiction and the application seeking to set aside a consent, there is no basis to grant an order for stay on the ground that that there is nothing to stay as the court did not issue any positive orders .
Further, the stay can only be in respect of the orders appealed from and not any other order generally. The application for stay pending appeal is therefore dismissed. Mention on 25.10.2022 to give directions on the pending applications.
