CHIEF MAGISTRATE’S COURT AT SHANZU
- The Applicant was charged and convicted on his plea of guilty for the offence of causing obstruction contrary to Section 53(1) as read with Section 53(4)(a) of the Traffic Act and acting as driver in a public service vehicle without prescribed driver’s uniform contrary to Section 103A(1)(2) as read with Section 103A(7) of the Traffic Act and sentenced to 2 months for count 1 and 14 days for count 2.
- A Sentence Review Report by Rosemary Nyong’a indicated that the Applicant has completed his sentenced and was released from prison. His earliest expected day of release was 20th September, 2024.
- Having considered the Sentence Review Report, the Applicant has already been dismissed and the Application is therefore dismissed.
